Thank you, Husband

My husband has already shared so much with me in this life: our home, the upbringing of our three lovely children, laughter and love.

And now this: People of Walmart.

peopleofwalmart.comHow is it that I was not informed of this gem months ago? I feel so behind the times!

We have lived across the street from Walmart for over three years now and try as I might to resist, I find myself spending more and more time under those God awful flourescent lights. Often wearing short shorts and a beer shirt. Go figure.

I know Walmart is evil, the devil incarnate, just terrible. But the diapers, oh the affordable, affordable diapers. So disposable, so deadly for our environment. And the baby clothes made by children not much older than my own—so adorable! Not to mention that bread, spices and canned goods are so much cheaper than grocery stores due to Walmart’s sketchy business dealings. And it’s right across the street!

sigh. I am a whore of our capitalist society. But at least I can laugh at my fellow a-holes.

Enjoy!
