Fat Free Brownies Make Adulthood Fine

I am making these for breakfast.

I deserve chocolate for breakfast because this week has been such a beastard (both beast and bastard, of course. Ok, it was initially a typo, but I like how it looks).

In spite of it all, I’ve done a ton of cooking and made some lovely sweet smelling vegan delights that I will share in the coming days. But probably on suite101, cuz you people aren’t paying my cell phone bill (I lost my phone, but stupid Rogers still wants to get paid. Come on, Rogers. Come on).

I think being a grown-up is dumb for the following reasons:

  • major appliances break down in pairs, if not triplets.
  • the inside of your head is the same as it was when you were a teenager, but you don’t get to sleep in until 1:30pm on Saturdays anymore and there are lasting repercussions if you act on your lesser impulses.
  • you have to make dinner even if you’re not at all hungry and clean up even if you didn’t eat any of the stupid dinner.
  • sooner or later you must start dressing your age and I’ll be damned if putting on a pair of ill-fitting khakis and white cross trainers is ever going to feel okay.

I think being a grown-up is awesome for the following reasons:

  • my husband is really hot and I’m totally allowed to sleep in the same bed as him.
  • my kids are hilarious and they do whatever I tell them to most of the time.
  • I GET TO EAT THESE BROWNIES FOR BREAKFAST.

The good outweighs the bad.
