Sick 2 year old and teething 8 month old are winning the battle for my soul, in fact, I don’t even want it anymore. Take it, you fiends!

Rather than expend any precious energy coming up with a completely original post for the night, I will share a link to the yummiest vegan comfort food ever: Vegan Shepherd’s Pie. Green lentils are the key, because they hold their shape and add an earthy, smoky flavour to the whole deal. Adding Rosemary to the mashed potatoes is highly recommended and this dish really lends itself well to being the vegan Thanksgiving entree.

This holiday weekend I am giving thanks for the other adults coming to visit so I can go and sob in the bathroom for awhile. Just kidding! It’ll probably be my bedroom. Kidding.
